Join chess instructor Jules Coulson for Fall 2021 beginner online chess classes! This class is suitable for kids with minimal chess experience and those who are new to chess but would like to learn. We will first focus on learning the basic rules of chess, then learn essential concepts in the opening, middlegame and endgame stages of the game. Students will apply what they’ve learned in weekly tournament games against each other. We will use the conference app Zoom and popular chess website lichess.org.
Dates: Mondays for 8 Weeks, 4:30 to 5:30 EDT, September 20th to November 8th
