Join local chess instructor Jules Coulson for Winter 2023 after school chess club at Colfax! The club is for students in grades 1-5 with chess experience and those who are new to chess but would like to learn. Classes will incorporate interactive lessons, group puzzle solving & chess exercises, game analysis, and more. Students will apply what they’ve learned by playing weekly tournament games against each other, with prizes awarded to the top 5 finishers. Participants must know how the pieces move before the first class.
When: Fridays for 8 Weeks from January 6th to February 24th, 3:00-4:15 PM
Where: Colfax Library, Parent Pick Up at Front Entrance of School
